
The Minister of Information, Kojo Opong Nkrumah at a press briefing on Tuesday, April 14,2020 has acknowledged the efforts of the general public in adhering to the safety measures put in place to combat spreading of COVID-19.
The Minister was also quick to admit that, while some have adhered strictly to the directives from the president, there are some people who still flaunt these rules and regulations.
There are others who doesn’t believed in all that is being said and done as far as the coronavirus or better still COVID-19 is concerned. Still in some remote areas, some people have not gotten any education on coronavirus awareness.
According to the Minister, there will be an education to engage the local people on the coronavirus awareness. This will be done by the help of the media and local authorities in various local dialects to aid better communication.
Kojo Opong Nkrumah also added that when the majority have followed the safety precautions and one person flaunt it, it put everyone at risk hence the need to encourage everyone to adhered to the safety measures.
